For many of us, feeding the masses that are in need seems like a lofty task, but it’s one that local high school students take on every year. The amazing heart shown by our local teens as they work tirelessly to collect food and donations for Stuff the Bus is truly inspiring. For them, they know that every single penny helps, people throw change at them on the streets and they gladly accept it. There is no donation too small and never time wasted when it comes to making sure our community has the food it needs to sustain us all year long. They realize that they could be feeding a neighbor or a friend and that’s enough for them.
This year, let our youth be your inspiration to donate your time, money, goods or services to the task of creating a vital and healthy community. There are many ways for you to give toward this very worthy cause. To donate and of the below items, please contact Angie Cherry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
1. Monetary Donation – By making a monetary donation, you can help us raise money to purchase food. 100% of all proceeds raised are used to purchase food for the community during Stuff the Bus in December.
2. Goods and Service Donation – Many businesses donate goods or services for our raffle prizes. This type of donation helps us to raise additional funds that go directly toward our Stuff the Bus food drive.
3. Volunteer Support – We can’t do it alone! We need your help. If you are interested in helping with either of our programs or becoming a member, we welcome you.
4. JUST ADDED! With a donation of $50.00, your business name will be printed on our flyers that go home to over 1,500 homes in the community! All businesses are invited to participate.
